HABBAKKUK: A Journey from Confusion to Faith
13, 20 & 27 October (3 Thursdays, 08:00 – 09:30)
The sessions will be conducted via Zoom
The book of Habakkuk is a prophecy about the coming invasion of Babylon and how God will judge the people of Judah for her sins. It captures the prophet’s conversations with God and how in these conversations, Habakkuk’s confusion was transformed into faith by the end of the book. Habakkuk’s journey of faith becomes our journey of faith as the apostle Paul tells us in Romans 1:16-17.
This course will examine the nature of prophethood in Israel, Habakkuk’s conversations with God and Paul’s understanding of saving faith in Romans 1:16-17.
