Shalom in the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

First and foremost, it is my prayer to God Almighty that we all be spared from the infection of the H1N1 virus that is, unfortunately, spreading in Singapore.

Whilst we trust God for protection over each one of us, it is important to exercise civic-mindedness for the sake of others if we have just returned from an overseas trip to an infected countries or feeling unwell at the moment.

Here's the recommendation issued by the Diocesan office according to the advice given by the Ministry of Health, if you have just returned from an overseas trip:

1.   To self-quarantined for 7 days from the day of arrival back to Singapore from an overseas trip to an infected country.

2.   To seek medical attention immediately if you feel unwell.

Lastly, I pray that all of us will be in the pink of health.
